Our Harvest Jubilee begins today - Wednesday, November 4th , 2026. Guest speakers will be Bro. Larry Winkler, Bro. Daniel Buchanan and Bro. Heath Williams. Posters are available at the Welcome Center.
MEN’S 4TH ANNUAL CLAY PIGEON SHOOT
The Men’s Ministry is having a Clay Pigeon Shoot on Saturday, November 14th hosted at the Catawba Valley Wildlife Club at 2705 Lynn Mountain Road, Vale, NC. Please be on site for sign in and safety briefing at 8am. BBQ Lunch will be provided. Dr. Ralph Sexton Jr. will be our special speaker. Please sign up at the Welcome Center.
GIRLS FOR JESUS FALL DAY
Girls for Jesus - “Rooted in Gratitude”. Come spend the evening and fellowship with one another, Bible study and prayer. Also, we will have fun games & activities on Saturday, November 21st from 4pm – 9pm at Jada’s home (3615 Hawthrone Drive, Hildebran, NC 28637). Join us for some fall fun! Dinner will be provided. Please sign up at the Welcome Center.
SENIOR ADULTS TRAIN DAY TRIP RESCHEDULED - NOVEMBER 19TH
The Senior Adults Train to the Bryson City Day Train Trip has been rescheduled for Thursday, November 19th. You will be leaving the church at 6:30am. The cost is $80.00 and $116.00 for non-members, non-seniors. We have several available spots for anyone interested in going, please sign up at the Welcome Center. You can place your money in an “Event Envelope” and place it in the Church Ministry Box located at the Welcome Center by Wednesday, November 11th. Thank you!
SPECIAL THANKSGIVING SERVICE
Please mark your calendars! We will be having a “Special Thanksgiving Worship Service” on TUESDAY, November 24th at 7pm in the upper fellowship hall. We will have pies and cookies during this special service. There will be NO service on Wednesday, November 25th.
THANKSGIVING MEALS FOR SHUT-INS
*The Senior Adults will be preparing Thanksgiving Meals on Tuesday, November 24th for our shut-ins.
*We have a list of items needed for these meals at the Welcome Center. Some items will need to be here by Wednesday, November 18th and some will need to brought by Sunday, November 22nd to the upper fellowship hall. Please sign up at the Welcome Center.
*Also, if you know of anyone that is a shut-in that would like a meal, you will need to sign them up at the Welcome Center. You will need to pick up the meal by 1pm at the fellowship hall and deliver it yourself.
DELIVERY WORKERS NEEDED
We are needing people to deliver meals to our shut-ins. If you are interested, please sign up at the Welcome Center. You will need to be at the upper fellowship hall on Tuesday, November 24th by 1pm.
OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD SHOEBOXES
In November, please pray for the children who will receive O.C.C. shoeboes, as well as for the journey it will take to reach them. Then, try to imagine the look of joy on the faces of those children as they open their shoebox! Thank you so much for participating in this year's Operation Christmas Child!!
*Please bring your filled shoeboxes to the Welcome Center or the OCC bin in the crossover area no later then Sunday, November 22nd.
