SENIOR BIBLE STUDY, BRUNCH & BINGO
The Senior Adults will have Bible Study & Brunch & Bingo on Tuesday, June 9th at 10:30am in the upper fellowship hall. Lunch will be provided.
SENIOR HICKORY AVIATION MUSEUM TOUR
The Senior Adults we be going on a tour to the new Hickory Aviation Museum on Thursday, June 25th. You will be leaving the church at 9:40am. Following you will be eating lunch at King Fish & Oyster Bar in Hickory. Please sign up at the Welcome Center if you plan to attend.
SENIOR STARS BEACH TRIP
It’s time to sign up for the Senior Stars Beach Trip. It will be Monday, September 21st - 25th. The cost will be $465.00 per person for Senior Adults. If you are not a Senior Adult (62+) or not a member, the cost will be $600.00. Your $100.00 deposit will be due on Sunday, June 28th. Your final payment will be due Sunday, August 23rd. Please sign up at the Welcome Center. Please put your money in an envelope and place it in the Church Ministry Box.

If your child will be attending any of the summer “Kingdom Crew” Events, please make sure and we have a parental consent form and also, summer drop-in forms that are located at the Welcome Center. Please fill they out and turn them in to the Church Ministry Box A.S.A.P.. Thank you!
FISH FRY FUNDRAISER
The WGBC youth invite you to join us for a Fish Fry on Sunday, June 14th, after our 4pm evening worship service in the upper fellowship hall! The price will be $15.00 a plate which includes - Fish, Fries, Coleslaw, Dessert & Drink. All proceeds will go to our Youth Ministry.
ATTENTION CHILDREN, YOUTH WORKERS & SECURITY TEAM
If you help with our children and/or youth in anyway including the nursery - we are in the process of updating our records and we need an updated background check for anyone that works with children 17 and under. We have new forms located at the Welcome Center that need to be filled out. There is a 1 hour video that is required to be completed in order to work with our children and youth in our church. Also, if you never received our Child Safety Policies Booklet, please contact the church office to receive a copy or we can email you a copy. Please fill the new form out and return it to the Church Ministry Box by A.S.A.P. Thank you!
ITEMS NEEDED
The Care Team has a container in the library to collect snacks for families in ICU waiting rooms, Cancer and Hospice facilities. If you would like to contribute snacks it would be greatly appreciated. The Care Team will take care of delivering them. Ideas are: Little Debbie's, individually wrapped chips, crackers, snack bar, water bottles, and etc. Please NO expired snacks.
CHILDREN’S CLOTHING DRIVE FOR OUR LOCAL SCHOOLS
Below is a list of what is needed for the Children’s Clothing Drive.
∙Biggest need is Underwear (both genders and all sizes).
∙Bottoms that have elastic (shorts, leggings, sweatpants) in all sizes. (Some kids with special needs are still in pull ups so this makes it easier for them to get changed)
∙T-shirts all sizes
If you are able to help with the children’s clothing drive for children, please place these items at the Welcome Center or you can drop them by the church office during office hours. Thank you!
