LADIES CONFERENCE VOLUNTEERS
We will have a short meeting with all ladies that signed up to volunteer to help with the Ladies Conference. Please plan to meet on Sunday, January 4th at 3pm in the old choir room.
TITHING ENVELOPES FOR 2026
We have the NEW boxes of tithing envelopes for 2026. You can pick up your new box at the Welcome Center. If you still have envelopes from 2025 - you can continue to use them until you run out. Don’t forget to write your name and amount on your envelope each week. The office only receives the envelope, and if your name and amount is not on them they have no way of knowing who it belongs to. Thank you~
SENIOR ADULTS BIBLE STUDY
The Senior Adults will be having Bible Study on Tuesday, January 6th at 9am at Timberwoods at 1501 Bethel Rd Morganton, NC off I-40 at Exit 106. For the ones riding the bus, we will be leaving the church at 8:30am.
LADIES MAKING BIBLE TASSELS
All ladies interested in helping make Bible tassels for our upcoming Women's conference, please plan to meet on Thursday, January 8th and\or 22nd at 6:00 pm in the Lower Fellowship Hall. Also, please sign up if you would be willing to bring a crock pot of soup, crackers, desserts or drinks. Please allow senior ladies to park below. Thank you for your help!
GIRLS FOR JESUS
Let’s start the year off bonding and spending time with our Girl’s for Jesus at Jada’s Home on Friday, January 16th at 3615 Hawthrone Drive, Hildebran, NC from 6pm - 9pm. We will enjoy a meal together, have a Bible Study and do some fun activities. Please sign up at the Welcome Center, if you plan to attend. If you have any questions, please see Jada.
HEE-HAW PRACTICE
For all the ones in the up-coming Hee Haw Show, you will begin practicing on Sunday, January 11th & 18th after our evening worship service in the upper fellowship hall.
MARRIAGE RETREAT
Just a reminder! For all the ones who have signed up for the Marriage Retreat, your deposit of $150.00 per couple was due December 14th. You can place your money in an envelope and place it in the church ministry box located at the Welcome Center. Also, we have limited rooms left for any couples interested in going, please sign up at the Welcome Center.
SENIOR TRIP ANNOUNCEMENT – AMISH COUNTRY 2026
Our Seniors are invited to join us for a wonderful trip to Amish Country on May 12–15, 2026! This four-day getaway will be filled with beautiful scenery, sweet fellowship, and a relaxing time together as we explore the charm and traditions of Amish Country.
Dates: May 12–15, 2026
Cost: $750 per senior or $800 for non-senior - non-member
Includes: Transportation, lodging, planned activities, and fellowship
If you’re interested, please sign up at the Welcome Center. There is limited spaces. A $200.00 per person - non-refundable deposit is due by January 31st. You can place your money in an envelope and put it in the church ministry box at the Welcome Center. Also, you are welcome to make payments for this trip. Come travel with us — we’d love to have you along for this special trip!
HOBO SUPPER & HEE-HAW SHOW
Join the Senior Stars for a fun night of food, fellowship and entertainment at our “Hobo Supper & Hee Haw Show” on Saturday, January 24th at 4pm in the Upper Fellowship Hall. Enjoy a classic hobo supper followed by a talent show featuring members of our church family. It’s sure to be a night filled with laughter and great fellowship. We will taking donations at the door, and all proceeds will go toward the Senior Stars Ministry.

DESSERTS NEEDED FOR LADIES CONFERENCE
Anyone interested in making desserts for the Ladies conference Saturday, February 28th, please sign up at the Welcome Center. We are in need of cookies, cakes, pies, cupcakes (nothing that needs to be refrigerated). All desserts need to be here by Friday, February 27th by noon in the upper fellowship hall. Thank you.

The Care Team has a container in the library to collect snacks for families in ICU waiting rooms, Cancer and Hospice facilities you would like to contribute snacks it would be greatly appreciated The Care Team will take care of delivering them. Ideas are: Little Debbie's, individually wrapped chips, crackers, snack bar, water bottles, and etc. Please NO expired snacks.
