SENIOR ADULTS
The Senior Adults will be going on Tuesday, August 5th to New Beginnings Baptist Church to support Preacher Paul as he is in preaching in revival for Bro. Daniel Buchanan church. Please sign up at the welcome center. You will be leaving the church at 9:30am. Lunch will be on your own at Mayflower in Lenoir.
SENIOR ADULT VISITATION
The Senior Adults will be going to visit several of our shut-in’s on Tuesday, August 12th. We meet at the church at 10am.
SENIOR ADULT - PEACH TRIP
The Senior Adults will be going to the Strawberry Hill Farm for peach season on Thursday, August 14th. You will be leaving the church at 9:00am. Please eat breakfast before you come. Lunch will be on your own at the Café. Ice cream will be provided. Please sign up at the Welcome Center if you plan to attend. Thank you!
SENIOR BEACH TRIP BALANCE DUE
Just a reminder! All the senior adults that are going on the senior adult beach trip September 22nd - 26th your final payment is due by Sunday, August 17th. Please place your money in an event envelope and place it in the church ministry box at the Welcome Center. Also, please call the church office before paying to get your credit amount and to verify your total balance due.

It’s almost time to start making Apple Butter. The senior adults are needing the following items:
* Dark Brown Sugar
* Allspice
* Apple Juice
*Cinnamon
If you are able to donate, please place your items at the Welcome Center or you can drop them off at the church office during the week. Please make sure to put your name on the items you brought so you can receive credit for it. Thank you!
GRAVEYARD FLOWERS
Just a reminder! We will be cleaning off the graves the last week in the following months: January, April & September.
LADIES RETREAT PAYMENT INFORMATION
Ladies attending the Ladies Fall Retreat in September - your total balance is due by Sunday, August 31st. Please place your money in an envelope and place it in the church ministry box. Also, please fill out an Adult Trip Form, which are located at the Welcome Center. Please complete form and place in the church ministry box at the Welcome Center.
GIRL’S FOR JESUS SLEEP OVER
The Girl’s for Jesus (ages 8-16) will be having a sleep over on Friday, August 22nd at 6pm - Saturday, August 23rd at 10am in the lower fellowship hall. The cost will be $10.00 per person. Please sign up at the Welcome Center and place your money in an event envelope. More details to come.
TRIPLE C’S TUBING EVENT
Triple C’s (ages 18 - 40) will be tubing down the river, Saturday August 23rd from 8:00am- 2:00pm. The cost is $10 for Triple C members. You will be leaving the church at 8:00am. Lunch will be provided! Bring snacks and drinks and be ready for a great time on the lake!
Also, we will be having a short meeting after morning service on Sunday August 17th for anyone interested in tubing. Please be sure to attend to gather all information needed for a great time!
CHURCH-WIDE ICE CREAM SOCIAL
We will be having a Church-wide Ice Cream Social on Sunday, August 17th following our evening worship service in the upper fellowship hall. Please join us! All are welcome!!

The suggested items for your Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes for August are: School Supplies. Don’t miss out on those Back-to-School sales or tax-free weekends!

The ladies will be having a “Make & Take” Fall craft night on Friday, September 19th 6:30 pm in the Upper Fellowship hall. Cost will be $12.00 each. All supplies will be provided. A sample will be at the Welcome Center. Please sign up & place your money in the event envelope and place it in the church ministry box (white box) located at the welcome center. If you can bring a snack or drink, sign up for that also. We have a limited number of slots. Sign up and pay as soon as possible. We look forward to a fun night of crafting with everyone!
