SENIOR STARS TRIP TO THE BILLY GRAHAM LIBRARY
Just a reminder! For the Senior Stars that signed up for the visiting the Billy Graham Library on Thursday, June 26th you will be leaving the church 8:15am, please eat breakfast before you come.
SENIOR STARS BEACH TRIP
It’s time to sign up for the Senior Stars Beach Trip. It will be Monday, September 22nd -26th. The cost will be $450.00 per person for Senior Adults. If you are not a Senior Adult (62) or not a member, the cost will be $600.00 for non-members and non-seniors. Your $100.00 deposit will be due on Sunday, June 29th. Your final payment will be due Sunday, August 17th. Please sign up at the Welcome Center. Please put your money in an envelope and place it in the Church Ministry Box.
SUPPLIES NEEDED
It’s almost time to start making Apple Butter. The senior adults are needing the following items:
* NEW pints & quart jars
* Dark Brown Sugar (for apple butter)
* Allspice (for apple butter)
* Apple Juice (apple butter)
*Cinnamon
If you are able to donate, please place your items at the welcome center or you can drop them off at the church office during the week. Please make sure to put your name on the items you brought so you can receive credit for it. Thank you!
GIRLS FOR JESUS (ages 8-16)
We invite all young ladies ages 8-16 for our Bible Study. We will meeting right after the morning service on Sunday, June 29th - 12-3:30pm in the lower fellowship hall. Lunch will be provided. Please sign up at the Welcome Center if you plan to stay. We look forward to seeing you all!
OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD SHOEBOXES
The suggested items for your Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes for June are: Quality Toys. Try to find a “Wow!” item with which to bless a child!
MEMBER’S CANCER LIST
Please continue to lift up our “Church Member’s Cancer List” in prayer. They are: Rick Abee, Barbara Abernathy, Faye Brittain, Ralph Davis, Jewel Fields, Janette Good, Barbara Huffman, Bill Kistler, Jeff Myers, Terry Petty, Wayne Price, Kay Ramirez, Jerry Richardson, Connie Stephens, Harold Wright Sr.,and Charlotte Young.
ITEMS NEEDED
The Care Team has a container in the vestibule to collect snacks for families in ICU waiting rooms, Cancer and Hospice facilities. If you would like to contribute snacks it would be greatly appreciated! The Care Team will take care of delivering them. Items needed now are: individual bags of chips and Little Debbie’s or individual bags of cookies.
